One of my fellow friends and senators at LSU responded to this picture with the quote that follows. All I have to say is I completely agree and I love this kid.  Those who believe that the price of gas is tied to political decisions (i.e. Newt Gingrich, idiots) should do the rest of us a favor and not vote in 2012. The fact is that the supply of gas is going DOWN (because nonrenewable fuels are, you know, nonrenewable,) the demand of it (due to the rapid growth of nations like India and China) is going UP.Sure things like sanctions on Iran are affecting it but you should note that the United States does not import A SINGLE BARREL of oil from Iran.So, hey there voter,In 2008 we were fighting a war on 2 fronts and in the midst of the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. Since then, we’ve ended both wars, killed Osama Bin Laden and many of al-Qaeda’s top leaders, instituted a peaceful regime change in Libya and put back to work millions of US workers.If you choose to remain ignorant, that’s on you. This is my last political status until November comes around.If you are a Republican, please consider your values. Fiscal conservatism should apply to all aspects. We aren’t in the Cold War anymore and ridiculous amounts of defense spending should be trimmed back. If pro-life is your main issue, consider the fact that pro-life is not simply anti-abortion. Being pro-life means that it is just important to protect the lives of innocent people being killed in war. It is just important to stop the practice of capital punishment. America shouldn’t be executing more people than China and Russia. I beg that you consider your morals when you vote in 2012.If you are a Democrat, continue your support for President Obama, the man is doing a great job. If you don’t think the President is doing a good job, be wary of turning over the reigns to evangelical conservatives who don’t think there should be a “separation of church and state.” We should never risk the presidency being in the hands of a malignant radical. If you an Independent, consider the source of things you read. Obama was born in America, he has a birth certificate, contrary to what Fox News would have you believe. Job creator means the rich. Illegal immigrant means minorities. Know the jargon. The conservative candidates don’t care about your everyday struggle. They want the job creators (rich) to provide more jobs (get richer). This country wasn’t founded on the principle of becoming wealthy beyond recognition. It was founded on earning an honest living, providing for your family and giving back to society so that those that come after you can do the same. Do not accept cuts to education, the sciences, the arts or anything that allows for freedom of expression. When we stop expressing ourselves, slavery is eminent.Above all, DENY IGNORANCE and vote with an educated man and not just “Anyone but Obama.”If you do this and still don’t feel that he is your candidate, good, democracy is working.Thank you, if you took the time to read all this.                                           -Christian Glorioso
